GeeGee Dogs on the way to Crufts

The route to CRUFTS!

In May this year, the GeeGee Dogs went on weekend trip to an obedience show, our first obedience show in 18 months or more. We entered classes on both days, and brought home lots of awards, including 1st places in the Good Citizen Dog Scheme Class, and 1st in Intro.

These first places in the Good Citizen Dog Scheme classes, meant that both Dora and Kheva, had qualified for the Semi Finals at Discover Dogs!

After this show, we didn’t manage to get to any other Kennel Club shows for the rest of the year! We would have liked to do some more shows for extra training.

Deciding Dora was a bit too young, Kheva pulled up her socks and worked extra hard to represent both dogs when Discover Dogs came around in October. Strutting her stuff in the heelwork and working beautifully, despite the mega distractions of an indoor show (mainly the natural treat stand right by the entrance!).

Well, Kheva only went and did it!!! She pulled off a super 3rd place and qualified for the FINAL at Crufts next year!!! Wooohooooo.

Kheva is looking forward to much more training with many more Natures Menu Treats…..!

Thank you for Nature Menu for supporting us through our journey to Crufts and for making super yummie foodies.
